Cell Phones = Designer Clothes

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

Cell phones seem to be more or less the “IT” accessory for people our age. But here’s the thing. Do kids actually want the phone part of the deal or do they want to be able to say they have a nice, new, sleek cell.?

I’d say the situation is sort of like designer clothes. Some people want the clothes for the name. Others, want it for the quality and style.

What do you think? Is it for the stylish and sleekness or the actual phone itself?

A School Fashion Show Run By You???

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

Hey Everyone,

I know that I haven’t posted in a REALLY long time and I will do my best to get on top of  that a little better but I’ve come up with an idea… again .

School isn’t all that far away - I know it sucks but that’s reality for you- and you may want some “extra credit”  if  I could call it that , or maybe just some more knowledge in the fashion industry… My suggestion is for you to think about putting on a school fashion show.

I know you may think it’s a little out there but really, it would be a great experience and incredibly resourceful. And, I wouldn’t imagine that it would be all that hard to get people to sign up for it either. If you think about it you do need more then just modles and if you include that in your flyer or anouncement more people will deffinetly be inclined to sign up.

Now, you may not be sure if  you can get the teachers to go for it… tell them that art is in the curriculum and fashion is a part of art so it will also be educational!

Then the cloths right…well all you need to do for that is go to a store tell them that you want to put on a school fashion show and that you are interested in using them exclusively and will advertise their clothing -for free!-  if they simply lend you some clothing for the show. You could ask them to just give you a gift card for “x” amount of money and then you could pick it all out yourself. (If you make any profit go to charity you may even be able to get them on the wagon even more easily.)

Well, it’s a thought and I know that I will consider it (seriously) maybe you will too…?
